Strong Papagayo winds kept us in port at Marina Puesta del Sol for a full week, April 8-15, 2014. The air was Estero sunrise w-pangas and Volcan San Cristobal 4-12-2014frequently hazy from the winds and smoky from the fires burning in nearby fields, which obscured the otherwise spectacular view of Volcano San Cristobal. It was breezy in the estuary and marina areas – puffing up and down at all points between 10 knots up to the mid-20s, but we had no regrets. It gave us the chance to explore a little bit, and spend some time once again in the company of Puesta del Sol's owner/builder, the very engaging Don Roberto Membreno.
