Blinded by Spam

OK, not like it's any surprise to any reader who still looks in occasionally, but I've hit yet another dry spell, posting-wise. Regardless of my own behavior I dislike getting bombarded by spam comments all over this here blog, which has been happening regularly and is increasing. My personal best for one day is 84 separate spam comments. I have received many, many invitations for penis enlargement, and exciting sources for either psychiatric medications or discount designer shoes. Bah.

So, henceforth and for the foreseeable future, to defend myself from all the spamsters out there, anyone who wants to post a comment is welcome to sign in first. Ienjoy hearing from people but Man, I hate rules.

In return for having to sign in, maybe I'll post some actual cruising stories. Deal?

    Lordy, I thought you two were “full fathom five” and making coral, such was the gap in communication!
    Anyhow, good to hear you are not and are probably, instead, making good meals and equally good cocktails.

    Hoorary! It’s Terry! You guessed correctly, my friend: the only thing that’s gone full fathom five has been the bottles of the gin we have been taking in healthful, medicinal quantities. And we’ve been recycling the bottles as responsible citizens do.
